The Friends of Germantown Park are so excited to unveil our new community playground! Located in the 17 acres of fields and green space between Germantown Elementary, Phoenix Academy and Studio 39, our park features sports fields, shade trees and an aging playground set to be removed this Fall.
In partnership with AACPS, we’ve designed and ordered a phase 1 playground, set to be installed next month. Today we are thrilled to unveil our Phase 2 design! From the rope climbing tower, dual slides, spinning rope tower, rockers, giant tube slide and more– we are so excited for another destination playground for the greater Annapolis community!

We are still in the development phase and have a strong goal of fundraising $200,000 by December so that we may secure state funding support. With your support and state funding, we will be able to install this playground in the Fall of 2027.
